Who We’re Looking For
We’re searching for part-time staff who are reliable, curious, and excited to be part of our book-loving family. If you enjoy helping people find their next favorite read, can handle a little lifting (boxes of books are heavy, but worth it!), and thrive working independently, you’ll fit right in.
Our ideal teammate:
Greets customers warmly and naturally
Keeps displays and front desk tidy throughout the day
Is comfortable handling money, answering phone calls, and providing excellent customer service
Helps keep our cozy bookstore looking its best, including light daily tidying
Is able to follow instructions, take initiative, and notice what needs doing
Is comfortable with basic Canva and posting simple updates on social media
Has weekday and weekend availability

Job Details & Requirements
Position: Part-time
Location: Booklegger Club, Huntsville, AL
Hours: 12-20 hours per week, must be available weekends
Pay: Starts at $12/hour with opportunities for raises and promotions

Requirements:
Must be 16+
Comfortable with physical work (books, shelves, and occasional mystery boxes!)
