The Nursery is Done!
Kimberly and I are getting very excited about welcoming our newest family member. We are expecting a boy on Labor Day, September 4th! Of course, we'll have to wait and see for an exact date, but we wanted to give you a peek at the nursery we just completed. For those of you who know me, you know I am a huge Winnie-the-Pooh fan, and have spent time with Kimberly in 100 Aker Woods playing poohsticks at poohsticks bridge, and visiting the real Pooh Corner. (Yes, there is a real 100 Aker Woods in Ashdown Forest south of London.) With that in mind, enjoy our Nursery Pictures, and we'll let you know in the coming weeks when the big day arrives! |

I decided to paint a mural on the wall, and Kimberly wanted a picnic scene. Together, we made a true "Pooh Corner" as you can see below, with Winnie and friends enjoying the shade under a tree in 100 Aker Woods.

Our friends Tina and Cassandra King made a wonderful crib set in 100 Aker Woods fabric, including bumpers, a pillow, and the quilt you see above, and the flying pooh and piglet wall hangings below, as well as lots of matching accessories. They really look great and we love them. You can also see the curtains I made to go with the theme.
